Harvest Haven: Celebrating 13 Years of Transformational Change with OEF

Enjoy some of the exciting highlights of Harvest Haven 2025.

Since our launch thirteen years ago on Earth Day (April 22nd), OEF has been a driving force for sustainable development and innovative problem-solving initiatives across Eleuthera. Working diligently with community stakeholders, local and global partners, OEF has produced impactful programs centred on advancing education, healthcare and wellness, entrepreneurship, economic development, food security, agriculture and cultural preservation.

On May 17th, OEF celebrated thirteen years of community development and service with the 2nd annual fundraising dinner soirée, Harvest Haven. Held poolside at our Rock Sound campus, this event brought friends, supporters, students, and the community together for an exquisite and memorable evening of fine dining, live entertainment, cultural celebration, and fundraising in support of OEF’s vital work. The Bahamas Striping Group of Companies returned once again as the esteemed Title Sponsor of the event.

The year’s event delivered an unforgettable culinary, social, and dining experience. Guests were treated to a signature, 5-star culinary lineup curated by Chef Emmanuel “Manny” Gibson of Manuelo’s restaurant. As usual, the “harvest haven experience” showcased a delectable fusion of Bahamian and international cuisine, accentuated with choice produce, grown and freshly harvested from the CTI Farm.

Guest Chef Emmanuel “Manny” Gibson displays some of the beautiful, freshly harvested produce supplied by the CTI farm that was incorporated into the menu.

During the evening, guests were wowed by local artists, who provided saxophone recitals, fire dancing, and an exhilarating, showstopping Junkanoo Rushout.

In keeping with the “Harvest Heroes” initiative, a set number of tickets were sponsored and awarded to Eleuthera’s community heroes, front-line workers, and first responders as a token of appreciation for their many sacrifices and contributions

If you were unable to attend, it’s not too late to give an Anniversary Gift of any amount to show your support. As we look to the future, we are excited, energized, and ready to continue the mission of enriching lives, building stronger communities, and driving sustainable development initiatives that enhance our beloved island and people.
